Dr. Lila is an internationally trained dentist. Graduated in 1989 with a degree of honor in DDS, from Shiraz University, Iran, she managed to practice in both private and public sectors and gained priceless experience in all aspects of family dentistry for 20 years. After immigrating to Canada, she completed her National Dental Board exams and became a Canadian dentist, serving families and kids. Her ability to speak in three languages other than English and her caring personality makes this experienced, soft spoken dentist a key member of our team in SmilePoint Dental.
She enjoys spending time with her sons, helping people in need, and COFFEE!

Graduated from Dental School in Shiraz University, Iran, in 1992 , and began her studies at Tehran University in Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated from the specialty program in 1996, ranked number ONE in the National Pediatric Board back home. She was an assistant professor while maintaining her own pediatric dental practice for over 20 years before immigration to Canada with her family. She completed her National Dental Board Examination in Canada and has been practicing ever since. Her kind and caring nature along with her expertise in the field of pedodontics makes her the perfect provider for kids and enables her to deliver the highest quality of dental care.
She enjoys skiing, skating, and the outdoors. She’s a dedicated mother and an amazing team worker.

Dr. Alkumru, DDS, PhD, FRCDC, Prosthodontist, was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his PhD in prosthodontics in the University of Ankara in collaboration with the University of Birmingham. After returning home from the UK, he became a professor and researcher at Maramara University of Istanbul, and at the same time established his own prestigious prosthodontics office. When he eventually decided to immigrate to Canada, he also became a visiting professor at the University of Toronto. After 2 years, he had started teaching dentistry in Schulich Dental School of Western University. He runs his own specialty office as well, making beautiful oral crowns and bridges, smile makeovers, and full mouth rehabilitations. Due to his character, experience, and knowledge, he is an asset to SmilePoint Dental.
He enjoys his beautiful family research, teaching dentistry, and SWEETS!

Graduated from Tabriz Dental school, Iran, in 1996, and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Tehran in 2003. He then started to teach at the university and practiced facial surgeries in the most prestigious centers of the world. He has several accomplishments, including being under the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has published several books with his colleagues regarding cosmetic related facial surgeries. He became a visitor professor in the Maxillofacial department of the University of Toronto in 2015. With a great hands-on as skills and a well-versed academic background, he is an asset to SmilePoint Dental.
Other than implant surgeries, and full mouth rehabilitation, he enjoys new adventures, running volunteer organizations, and spending quality time with his beautiful family.
